Our God is a good and faithful God. He never leaves us questioning what is right and what is wrong. He not only tells us what is WRONG, He tells us what is RIGHT and gives us guidelines to follow.

First of all He says in the Bible:

"Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32)

He also reminds us that keeping company with angry people is not a good idea, as it only encourages bad habits in us.

"Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared." (Proverbs 22:24-25)

He shows us how it is possible to overcome anger by submitting our minds to God and repenting of our pride in humility.

"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you….Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up." (James 4:7, 10)

God's "plan" is for us to become kind, compassionate, and forgiving. He warns us against making friends with angry people and asks us to resist the devil. By submitting our will to the Lord, He's promised victory.

But for more specific ways to implement or practice His plan, let's go to the last link.
