The Bible says:

"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)

You may question if you’ve been called. For your answer, read verses 29-30 in Romans 8. You’ll notice that those God foreknew He predestined or planned ahead that they should be "conformed to the image of His Son (Jesus)". And since God knew you before you were born, and planned for you to be like Jesus in character, you can be assured that you are called!

You can be assured that God would never allow anything to happen to you that would not produce good in your life. The challenge is to hold on to the hope He offers.
